Sunday wishes

Sundays are really just a synonym for laziness, well at least my Sundays are. I slept in after a great night out and had a calm day. I'm such a fan of quiet Sundays! Sundays also happen to be great days to make some wishes (and ofcourse for hoping they come true).
Therefore, my evergrowing wishlist just got a little more concrete. Oh how I love my online windowshopping! After my vacation, I'll start working a bit more and soon these babies will be mine, ALL MIIINE (I had this slightly creepy movie-villain vibe going on)!

These pieces will make for some great additions to my wardrobe. Also, my mom went shopping with her friends this weekend and she got me a beautiful sheer white top, did I mention how much I love my mom?

Anyways, I hope everyone had a great weekend and I'm going to enjoy the one Sunday wish that already came true. Oh yes, you guessed it: a hot chocolate!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

Why the hell did I ever say that I love snow? I mean really, why?
First, I had to walk from my dormroom to the busstop. As I stepped outside, it suddenly started snowing. Not just a little, but the kind of 'I can't see because there's so much of it' snow. Yeah, that kind! You can probably imagine that I was pretty annoyed. It's all pretty and romantic and what not, as long as you don't have to walk more than 15 minutes in it with three bags!
Then, because of the snow, traffic was really slooooow and I almost missed my train. But not to worry, as always NMBS (the Belgian railway company) holds true to it's cliché of always being late. By the time the train finally exited Ghent, there were so many people on the train that you could easily compare us to a horde of livestock being transported to get slaughtered. Alright yes, I slightly exaggerated the situation but there really was like zero personal space.

But ok, even after all of that I must admit that snowy landscapes are so incredibly beautiful. As long as I'm inside, enjoying yet another hot chocolate (must.have.my.daily.fix), in front of the fireplace covered in a warm blanket. Oh snow, my dear, I love you but I hate you. It's such a fine line isn't it?

Treasure Hunting

I found some new treasures this morning! Three lovely nailpolishes and a fabulous skirt. And on the way back to my dormroom I found even more treasures: darkpurple tights and amazing new jewellery.
It was indeed a great morning for treasure hunting in Brown Eyed Girl-land.
Funny thing is that I didn't even set out to go shopping, I just met up with a friend to have some hot chocolate (yes I am addicted) and it just evolved into looking around in a few stores, which evolved into buying these beauties.

Well at least I can say I had a great morning! Plus, I'm just working through my must have list, which also has to be done! (Excuses for when my mom says that I already have so much clothes and that I really have to stop buying new ones)

See, I'm not even halfway through it so it's essential that I start somewhere on my new list! Next Tuesday, I'm going shopping to Antwerp with a few friends, so then I can at last continue my quest for the Holy Grail(s) (I was feeling a little Monty Python vybe going on, which is always genius).

Until then, I'm going to relax a bit, and sadly also try to work for school. I have a proposal for my thesis due next Wednesday, so it's time to make a decision in terms of what subject I'm going to be researching.

Anyways, I'm packing up my stuff to spend a weekend at home so I'll just conclude with two pictures of myself (well, aren't I a little narcist or what?) from the last month (horrible quality, I know).
